After my floors were damaged in the freeze, Abed and his team did an amazing job replacing my entire floor while I went on vacation. They managed the entire process (including bringing pro’s to move our piano!). Couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend this company.

I recently was in the market to replace the carpet on my stairwell with wood/laminate. After receiving multiple quotes and having a few conversations with other flooring companies, I decided to use Grand Floors & More. Abed contacted me promptly and was very professional (from the beginning). Abed listened to my request, asked for pictures, and offered me multiple options to get to my goal. I truly appreciated the fact that Abed guided me in doing my staircase the right way - versus cutting corners per say - which essentially did not cost me any more money. Upon the installation, the installers (Ash and Sam) were extremely prompt and proficient. They were outstanding and diligent in their work; as a result, I was more than satisfied with the results - it turned out "exactly" how I envisioned it. This company may not necessarily be the cheapest as far as quotes, but, their pricing is very fair, and as noted above, their work is amazing. I am already planning to use them again in the future. I would give them a 6 rating if it was available - they were that good from start to finish.

I came by to look at some tile options for my bathroom and get some ideas on tearing out my tub. Wayne worked with me to give some pretty good ideas. I was impressed. Still in the process of deciding what works best but wanted to give a quick shout out to great service and knowledge! I will be going with Wayne after we get through the holiday.

I have decide to replace my existing carpet floors to Vinyl. I spoke to multiple folks and took quotation from few as well. After Speaking with Abed- (Owner), decided to go with Grand Floors & More. He clarified all my concerns, provided best price , set the expectations on the project and straight to the point. We are very satisfied with the output of this project and very satisfied with his work. Highly recommended.

We hired Grand Floors to remove tile, carpet, and replace with vinyl flooring. While the floor itself is beautiful, we were very disappointed in the clean-up and damage left behind. The response of our sales rep when we expressed mild disappointment was also a let down. Our walls have minor but pervasive paint damage (throughout the first floor of our home), our bathroom sink is loose and has moved away from the wall and our cabinets and pantry are covered in shards of tile and dust from tile removal. When we expressed disappointment we were pointed to the portion of our contract that recommended we remove all wall paint if we wanted to avoid damage. No attempt was made to improve the situation or even express remorse. It is clear that this is a common complaint for the company. While I enjoy the final product, I will not be working with this company again.

We worked with Grand Floors for 2 projects, an accent wall and a laundry room They have a great selection at the store for any project! to choose new ones and to match existing ones. Wayne was super helpful helping us look for the right ones, we just told him what we wanted and he pointed us in the right direction. The crews that came to our house for both projects were super professional, with great attention to detail. They listened to every suggestion or demand that we had and made it happen. Both projects look fantastic, we are very happy with the results. We will be using them for more projects to come!

I decided to replace my floors to Engineered hardwood, after looking online, i decided to visit Grand Floors and More to get the material, I spoke with Abed- The Owner of the company, he was very knowledgeable, informative, and straight to the point. He showed us several samples beside the ones we looked online, he went to the next step and ordered for us 2 samples we asked him about it and didn’t have it in the showroom and called us after 4 days to pick it up. Nice shop atmosphere with very helpful staff. Highly recommended.

We had our new kitchen cabinets replaced by Grand Floors & More and we are very pleased with the outcome. Abed was very helpful, pleasant, courteous, and professional. He was helping us with the whole process. We love our new cabinet, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

I rarely take the time to write reviews, but thought this sitautioin warranted it. After placing an order with one of the larger chains because of their diiscounts and special financing, I canceled my order when no one called to schedule an install. Within 4 days of making my selection at Grand Floors & More, my new floors were ordered and installed. The owner came out personally measured my house and made some good suggestions about which color to use. The installers were extremely courteous, considerate, and professional. I couldn't be more thrilled with both the finished product and the buying experience.

We were looking to replace the flooring in our dinning room and office and visited several local flooring stores & big box stores. In the end, Grand Floors & More offered the best value and were the most authentic is showing us the various options and price points. Abed was very helpful and made the extra effort to ensure we were happy with our selected floor. Installer showed up on time & took time to discuss the proper COVID safety precautions to ensure that the work was completed safety for everybody.The flooring was installed on schedule and looks fantastic. We will use Grand Floor again to replace the flooring in our bedrooms.

I worked with Wayne for a condo install, 1st floor laminate, 2nd floor carpet. He did a great job guiding me through the options, suggested a few samples that I hadn't considered and brought all samples I wanted to see on location to select from. I actually ended up going with the one he suggested and it wasn't my initial pick as I wanted lighter. Not only was he knowledgeable but also very quick on communication and upfront on prices as well. Installation was a breeze, after an initial schedule snafu due to rain (it's Houston after all!), the guys came in and were done in half a day for carpet and half a day laminate. I've used another installer for my home laminate project and after seeing how well Wayne's crew did on it, I kinda feel bad that I just found Grand Floors, as the other team put a few dings in the laminate and damaged expensive wall paint in several places that needed to be redone at my expense. I had several other bids, actually Wayne worked with us to get a competitive price and we're super happy with our new floors! Great team, A+! Highly recommended.

This may be my new favorite place. It's got a large selection of 3/4 surfaced wood at the front and then a sea of rough sawn in a variety of thicknesses in the back. The rough sawn is the real treasure trove and it's arranged half on the floor and then half on a second story walkway. It's just a pleasure to search out your wood at a place like this

I have ordered exotic hardwood from Houston Hardwoods on several occasions and had it shipped down to Corpus Christi. Purchasing hardwood over the phone is something I am always wary of doing. However, I have always been very happy with the pieces that I have received and the one time there was a problem John immediately rectified the problem. With your competitive prices and OUTSTANDING customer service I highly recommend everyone looking for hardwood here. Thanks again.

We got quotes from 3 companies to replace our kitchen counters with granite. Grand Floors was competitive, so we chose them. Wayne worked with us to select the color/pattern granite we wanted and stay close to our budget. There was a little miscommunication between parties and we weren't able to get our cutoff pieces (extra from 2nd slab), but Wayne and Lokesh made it right by letting us select an extra cutoff from their shop and taking that piece home. Lokesh's crew did an excellent job on the install; they were respectful of our home (laid out cloth to protect floors, no wall scratches, etc.) And took their time while still completing demo and install in a day. Would highly recommend Grand Floors if you're looking for quality kitchen counters!

We decided to have the carpet in our master bedroom replaced as a start to installing new flooring in every room in our house. We did our research and went to Grand Flooring & More. They were very helpful, extremely professional and gave us a great price on vinyl plank flooring. They own crew (not contractor crew) came at the appointed time, moved our furniture out, did a great job of installing our new floor then cleaned up and moved our furniture back in. All in the same day! We couldn't be happier. We highly recommend Grand Flooring & More. We plan to use them on additional flooring and to remodel our bathroom. What a great company who provides quality products and service and great prices.

Just replaced all the floors in my new home and working with Grand Floors & More was a breeze! Very good customer service and attention to detail. I cant say enough great things about this Grand Floors & their employees. I had my entire upstairs carpet (except the bathrooms)replaced with luxury vinyl. They matched the color & wood style to my downstairs floor, advised me on the most current trends for my staircase. & installed it quickly. Their installers were outstanding. Every day they cleaned up perfectly. The 2 installers moved heavy furniture back & forth to get to all 5 bedrooms so I was able to sleep in my own room the 1st night. The removed all the old carpeting even though I told them they could leave it at the curb. The final installer (wish I could remember his name) went above & beyond for me. He pieced together some of the old carpeting so it wouldn't look bad at the transition between my bathroom tile which I told him was going to be the next home project. He cut threshold pieces for me to add later when I remodel my baths. This was the best experience I've had with fixing up my home. Wish I'd known about them after my home was flooded by Harvey! Oh yeah, & of the 4 bids I got, theirs was the best! I'll be using them again in the future. They really care about their customers.

Just had our carpets changed to vinyl planks for flooring, couldn't ask for a better deal, we've been shopping around for a while now, we found some materials we liked from other stores however pricing and service were not as impressive. When you know you're going to need to spend some money for a project, you wanna make sure that you've made the right decision for choosing that particular store. Grand Floors and more was all about that. From the sales agent Andres to the type of materials they have and the pricing they offered plus the wonderful work put in by the efficient workers we were not only happy with what we got for our money, we gained friends from these people, they care enough to know that you'll be happy you chose them.

I am so happy with my new quartz counters from Grand Floors and More. Andres was the customer service representative that helped us and he was awesome. He had great communication skills and helped us find what we needed in a smooth and quick fashion. I appreciate him so much. We went with a white quartz and it was very reasonably priced. They only required half down to start then half upon finishing. The installation was fast and seamless. We are thrilled with how it came out and the cost for the quality. We attempted to go to Home Depot for countertops but there was never someone there to help us. I actually went in four separate times to try to buy countertops and there was never an associate to help so I found this place and can not be happier that I found them!! I saved money, was helped on the spot, and communicated with through the process. I would highly recommend Grand Floors and More to anyone looking to remodel especially over a corporate store like Home Depot and Lowe's which have terrible customer service. They do not even compare in price, quality, and customer service. Will definitely return to Grand Floors and More in the future.

Houston Hardwoods has a fantastic selection. They carry all sorts of wood. I've recently embarked on some project work, and I needed to purchase some specialty wood. They are "the place" to buy marine-grade plywood.Suffice it to say, I was not impressed with the service my friend and I received while buying our wood. The guys in the office were, simply put, jerks. We were ignored, even after making some eye contact and politely requesting some help. I got the impression that helping customers was completely above them. We eventually got some assistance while browsing the floor: the guys working there were very sweet, helpful, and knowledgeable. If they didn't know the answer to our questions, they found out for us.

This place is worth the drive because of the huge selection and good prices. The staff is friendly and helpful. They will cut and sand you lumbar project for free.

My experience with Houston Hardwoods was great. I was looking to build a walnut tabletop and I couldn't have asked for better results. I am still kicking myself for not going to Houston Hardwoods first. I ended up going to a competitor in the Heights first, and I was shocked when they gave me the price for dimensioned walnut.

Awesome place! Helps me right away. Explain the differences of different boards. Could not ask for better service. Got exactly what we needed for some finishing boards in our House at a very reasonable price

I buy from the shorts and cutoffs section 99% of the time, and the prices are clearly marked and it's easy to find what I need. They have a very good selection of exotic hard woods, and everything is priced fairly. They also have a pricing sheet in the office that you can grab so you will know exactly what the charge will be long before you get to the office. Their policy on cutting lumber is clearly displayed, and they have a lot of staff on the floor at all times so it's easy to get help if you need it.

I'm a woodworker who has been buying wood and plywood for furniture I've built for a while now. So, I feel the need to bring a dose of reality to the rating for this place. I've been there 4 times, and every time I've come away feeling the same way: the service is non-existent, the "huge" selection is average at best, and the prices beat Clark's (their only real competitor) but you get what you pay for.

Went there for the first time today looking for some exotic wood for small projects. They have a nice selection of individually priced short boards. Also a good selection of domestic and imported hardwood in full lengths (you need to ask for prices). Their prices are good and fair. The staff that I encountered were all very friendly. I will definitely be back!

Great selection and prices are OK. The place to find that old moulding profile that nobody carries any more. Customer service though is hit and miss depending on who you get in the sales office.
